I have been an extremely outspoken critic of Arken, particularly about the wait times for their product, BUT, after receiving a phone call from one of the team members apologizing for my scope getting hung up in the shipping department, (six month wait), and then receiving my 6-24 MOA scope a few days later, I’m an extremely happy man. The scope is exceptionally well made, (yes, I know it was made in China), the glass is crystal clear, (yes, it’s Japanese glass) and the turrets are tight and track perfectly. Would I wait 16 weeks for another scope? Absolutely!!! I believe Arken has taken their lumps, learned their lesson, and I foresee them becoming serious competition for the under $1,000 scope market. Okay, enough happy clappy stuff. As you can see, I mounted the scope on my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. I’ve made some upgrades to the rifle, and I couldn’t be happier about the marriage of scope and gun. It really was worth the wait, and as soon as I can get my piggy bank built back up again, I will purchase another 6-24 MOA for my Remington 700 in 7mm Rem Mag. Then maybe another… Don‘t give up, my brothers and sisters of the gun, I know how frustrating it is having to wait for your scope, but when you get it in the mail, you’ll forget the frustration and be sprinkled with happy dust (too much?).
I’m a happy man… content media
