Illumination turret frozen

My EP-8 illumination knob is so lose it feels like it will fall off. The actual light reticle flickers on and off after I fire or charge the rifle. Please help!

Sent a EPL 4 back with that issue. The next one I finaly got to move, turned clockwise until it freed up and would lifht at all setings. not a easy thing.

Arken Optics build tolerances are very tight. Try heating it up with a hair dryer, and grab it with a towel, and give it a good twist. It should loosen up a bit over time. If it proves to be too difficult, email us, and we will get an RMA started for you.

Back out the lock and set screws for the ZeroStop. Sight in your rifle. Loosen the (3) turret perimeter screws, and set the turret on -0-. Tighten the (3) turret perimeter screws. Turn the turret 3 clicks up from -0-. Turn the ZeroStop set screw down until it makes contact with the ZeroStop plate. Back the screw out 1 full turn. Tighten the ZeroStop lock screw. Now turn the turret back to -0-. You should feel a positive stop, and it should be dead on -0-. Let me know if that works for you. I have attached a short video for you as reference.
