Why does matching the optic color to the rifle void the warranty? One would think that changing the surface color wouldn't affect the performance of such a well-made optic. I could understand voiding the warranty if it's a baked-on coating as elevated temperature could affect the internal mechanics of the scope but a non-baked on finish would add better protection from the elements as well as help with concealment.
Doing so will void your warranty... just so you know.
