I want to make my own scope mount for the Zulus. Does anyone know the dimension of the V on the bottom of the scope? I was hoping that it would use the standard dimensions of an M16A1 upper handle. But no.
My problem is that the stock mount is about .375" too low for my rifle. A picatinny rail riser starts at .5"
Very nicely done!!
I was able to fabricate up a mount that fits my application exactly. I have installed the scope on a Desert Tech MDRX. It is a bullpup rifle that has a limited amount of rail on the receiver and it needs a little bit more height on the optic. Also the rail comes fairly far back so the cantelever is not needed.
I published my design on GrabCad here. https://grabcad.com/library/arken-optics-zulus-mount-1
The crown of the V is .28" or 7.2mm. The base of the V against the scope is ..36" or 9.3mm
