I ordered an EP5 on 09 Jan, just got shipping notice today.

Wondering if someone who has received an EP5 could do me a solid and measure the box.

Idk but I’m glad I ordered mine a long time ago it finally shipped yesterday I’m surprised they stopped taking orders for em they must have an insane back log, as of a couple days ago u could still order an ep4

When will Arken start to take orders again for the EP5?

I’m hoping that’s what I end up with a scope I never need to replace only buy more of them for other rifles in the future bc we’ll u can never have enough good scopes

I felt the need to order immediately once I saw a trusted reviewer reaffirmed my previous experience. I would have graduated to the EP4 if the reticle was lit. SH4's were such an improvement over what I could afford previously I couldn't justify replacing a new $500 Strike Eagle. But that's exactly what I'm doing now. Arken has earned my trust with the combination of an excellent product to start with then upgrades glass, reticle and went to 56mm objective bell. The simple design of the zero stop with full travel makes for a scope that I will never need to upgrade ever.

Yeah I wish I could jus forget about it and wait on it to show up but I jus ain’t got it in me lol but I have to wait bc I wanna at least have had given arken a chance

I ordered the EP-5 5-25x56. It took 24 days to get it, faster than the estimated time. I ordered it and didn't think about it until they informed me it shipped. Very good quality for the money, well worth the wait.

Wish there were somewhere where I lived that would have more mid to upper tier optics to look through and compare so I could check out an Ep5 and a couple athlons side by side to make sure I get whatever scope I like the most but there’s nowhere near me that I know of so it’s jus anxious waiting for me Unfortunately but I still think the Ep5 is the way to go that or maybe a midas tac hd 6-24

I had a rare opportunity to speak with one of the optical engineers for US Optics. I had no idea who he was until the end of the conversation. He got behind an EP5, and said that being a subject matter expert, that Arken Optics has made a huge dent in the optics market, and forcing the “other” companies to follow suit. He was thoroughly impressed with the crazy edge to edge clarity of the EP5.

Just sayin…

So for those of you with patience to get your EP5 optic, without cancelling, or going a different route, you will be rewarded for your perseverance.

I received a notification from Arken over a month ago notifying me of the EP 5. After my great results with sh4's,6x24x50 & 4x16x50 I was happy to get Japanese ED glass and illuminated aim point. Early review from Tiborsaurus Rex was all the reaffirmation I needed to pull trigger. Will be waiting on new rifle build anyway. Giddy up Arken! Thanks for making such accurate tools affordable for us lunch box draggers.

I am like a kid waiting on Christmas. I can’t wait. I will probably order another one after this one if all goes well. I have a lot of blind toys that need optics!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I am not worried. Back when Arken was brand new I ordered my original 6-24x50 it took a while. I will wait patiently. Its worth it. I may have to upgrade it to the new 5-25 x56 if I can this spring.

Probably not too long,mine shipped around the month mark.

When I ordered my my sh4 it was "IN STOCK". That was Dec 31. It still has not shipped as of Jan 21. Not a huge problem, it sounds like they hadn't updated the webstore as of the time of my order. So I wait, but now idea how long.

Glad to hear of more positive experiences, can’t wait til this much more experience with the Ep5 to be shared with all us eagerly awaiting our package…. I’m pretty sure they buy the glass from Japan and then use it in their scopes but I could be wrong I have no personal experience to go on but that’s what I’ve been told by several people one of which who sells them but u could always email arken to find out they’re very responsive and seem to be up front about everything besides a few small things so I’m sure they will tell u

I just ordered my 3rd scope and accessories. 2 sh4 gen 2's and 1 EP 5 yesterday. Both Sh4's are fantastic, worth the wait for sure. Went on Savage A & B Precision rifles with excellent results with true match ammo. Will swap a Vortex Strike Eagle with the EP 5 on my 10 BA Stealth 308. Should be a great shooting summer! Wondering if the EP5 is made in Japan since the ED glass is Japanese?

Arken IS SHIPPING the EP5's out in the order in which orders were recieved. In case some of you are living under a rock, stock & shipping across the entire world is severely fuked up! It's going to take time! From what I understand, only small batches of the scopes are coming in per shipment. Last i saw, guys who ordered around December 21ish have started receiving theirs. You fellas KNEW upon ordering it was a minimal time ESTIMATE of 2-4 weeks, MINIMUM! I guarantee Arken would also prefer to have 1000 scopes in hand -in stock to sell to all of us standing here begging them to take our money, but the world is fuked up right now. Patience........

Thanks for letting me know man… if I can get this other scope I may end up cancelling bc it seems like they shipped a handful out to distributor/dealers to throw out the bait and then worry about getting them out to people in the time they gave which jus leaves is to speculate what the deal is and whether or not they’re actually rolling them out shipping them day by day or are jus waiting on an order to come in on ship so we can only guess
