I just purchased a Bergara Premier Competition 6.5, and plan on surpressing it. I'm assuming 20MOA medium rings are the correct ones, but I would like some professional input.

I received my Arden 5x25 the week before last. The rigid mount that i paid for and ordered was not in the package. I went to the website and sent two emails about a week apart and no answer. I found a phone number but there is a recording saying to go to the website and email them. Arden seems to be unreachable. Do anyone have any means of communicating with this company? What if there are warranty issues. What do we do? I just want my rigid scope mount.

Ep-5 on an ar10, full picatinny rail. You need the high scope mounts. Medium causes the scope to come in contact with the rails.

I have a Browning A Bolt with a 20 moa from EWG, doing the math th gp between the scope and barrel, and asuming low rings: 17mm (from 34mm tube) + 23.368 mm (from rings) - 28 (from scope radius) = 12.368 mm or a little more than 1 cm (plus the high of the 20 moa. however the problem is that since the slope of the 20 moa base I don't now if the sunshade will fit,(maybe to go on the safe side should use medium rings) I would appreciate your comments.

1976 M1A National Match 7.62x51 with the EP5 5-25x56 and SADLAK Airborne mount, using LOW RINGS. There's still a full 1/4" of clearance under the bell.

SH4 6-24X50 On a Begara BMR Carbon with the factory 30MOA just BARELY touches with the low rings. This combo requires medium rings. Just a data point for future users. I’ll need to swap to medium.

The Rigid Precision mount was specifically made for the AR type platform. It will make the scope ride where your iron sight line would be.

Bought Leupold Medium PRW, on a 20 minute rail. Worked perfectly. I have about 3/16” space between objective bell and barrel. My eye lines up perfectly. Thanks for the help!

On my Savage model 10 with a 20moa base in an Oryx Chassis I I had to use medium rings. The low rings caused the scope turret housing to hit the rail. I could get it to clear but it was less than a business card thickness clearance and close to a sheet of paper thickness. IMO with recoil and flex that was going to cause a potential problem. The other issue is the bell clearing when trying to adjust the scope for proper eye relief. With the proper cheek rest and getting an accurate height over bore measurement you will be fine. Hope this helps.

Mark, from the Mark and Sam after work youtube channel (they do ELR shooting in Australia (i think)) likes his optics quite high. He has several videos about the reasons and mechanics of it too. I found the higher rings worked better for me too.
