The parallax adjustment is not end user adjustable. The numbers are only there for reference, and are not intended to be used as a range finder. There are many factors that come into play, as to how close your particular scope happens to line up with those numbers. Just dial until it is clear when you are behind the scope, and you will be fine. That is what I do.
